NPP has frozen Ghana’s prospects, we need to reset it - Baba Sadiq

Mr Baba Sadiq, the National Democratic Congress’ (NDC) Parliamentary Candidate for Okaikwei Central Constituency in the Greater Accra Region, has called on the electorate to reset Ghana's prospects by voting out the governing New Patriotic Party (NPP) in the December 7 general elections.
According to Mr Sadiq, the NPP's tenure has been marked by corruption, mismanagement, cronyism, and nepotism, which have hindered the country’s progress.
He stated that Ghana is currently in a state of stagnation, with significant slowdowns across various sectors, underscoring the need for a reset.
Drawing an analogy, Mr Sadiq likened the country to a malfunctioning phone that requires a reset to function properly.
He emphasised that Ghana needs a reset, as echoed by the NDC’s flagbearer and former President John Dramani Mahama in his engagement with the media.
Mr Sadiq made these remarks during an interview on Accra 100.5 FM’s live coverage of the NDC’s 2024 national campaign launch in Tamale, themed "Change to Reset Ghana," hosted by Nana Ama Agyarko.
He stressed that a reset is crucial for changing Ghana's fortunes, highlighting the NPP's mismanagement across various sectors, including roads, education, and the economy
