Nigerian President Tinubu pledges support for Ghana's growth

Nigerian President Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu has expressed unwavering confidence in the leadership of Ghana’s newly inaugurated President, John Dramani Mahama, predicting a period of positive transformation under his administration.
Speaking at the swearing-in ceremony held in Accra on January 7, 2025, President Tinubu praised Mahama’s dedication and extensive experience, asserting that Ghana is poised for significant progress.
“I do not doubt that your administration will bring about positive change and progress,” Tinubu stated, drawing resounding applause from dignitaries and attendees.
He lauded President Mahama’s leadership qualities and track record of service, emphasizing that Ghana is in “capable hands” to navigate its challenges and unlock its potential.
In his address, Tinubu highlighted the critical importance of collaboration between Ghana and Nigeria, two of West Africa’s leading nations.
He pledged Nigeria’s steadfast support for Mahama’s government and stressed the need for a united front to tackle shared regional challenges.
“As neighbouring nations, our destinies are intertwined. Let us work together to achieve prosperity and stability for our people,” Tinubu urged.
