The National Democratic Congress (NDC) Vice-Presidential Candidate, Prof. Jane Naana Opoku-Agyemang, is set to begin a three-day tour of the Western North Region starting Tuesday, October 1.
The tour aims to galvanize support for the NDC’s presidential and Parliamentary Candidates across several Constituencies, including Aowin, Suaman, Bodi, Bia East, Bia West, Sefwi Wiawso, Sefwi Akontombra, and Bibiani Ahwiaso Bekwai.
During her campaign, Prof. Opoku-Agyemang will outline the NDC’s strategic initiatives to "reset the country." Key focuses will include job creation, revitalizing the cocoa sector, enhancing education, and empowering women through the establishment of a Women’s Development Bank.
In preparation for her tour, Prof. Opoku-Agyemang will address a women’s conference in Kumasi this morning. She will also launch the campaign for the NDC's Parliamentary Candidate for the Upper Denkyira West Constituency at the Ayamfuri Community Centre later today.
Mr James Agyenim-Boateng, Spokesperson for Prof Opoku-Agyemang explained that as the NDC seeks to strengthen its presence and support in the region, the tour is expected to play a crucial role in rallying voters ahead of the upcoming elections.
