Parliament announces commencement of third meeting of Ninth Parliament’s first session

The Speaker of Parliament, Rt. Hon. Alban Sumana Kingsford Bagbin, has officially announced the commencement of the Third Meeting of the First Session of the Ninth Parliament of the Fourth Republic of Ghana.
The official communication was dated September 29, 2025, in Accra.
"Pursuant to Order 58 of the Standing Orders of Parliament, I Speaker of Parliament, hereby give notice that the third meeting of the first session of the ninth Parliament of the fourth Republic shall commence on Tuesday, 14th October, 2025 at 1400 hrs at Parliament House, in Accra", the statement said.
The notice, issued under the authority of the Speaker’s Office, underscores the formal reopening of parliamentary business following the conclusion of the previous sitting.
The lawmakers are expected to reconvene to deliberate on key national issues, legislative business, and other matters of public interest.
