Ruto: Kenya’s President begins 3-day state visit to Ghana
Kenyan President William Ruto arrived in Accra, Ghana, on Tuesday evening 2 April 2024 to embark on a three-day state visit.
Upon his arrival, he was warmly received by Vice President Mahamudu Bawumia at the Kotoka International Airport.
During his visit, President Ruto is scheduled to engage in bilateral discussions with his host, President Nana Akufo-Addo, with the aim of bolstering trade, diplomatic, and historical relations between Kenya and the West African nation.
In addition to the bilateral talks, President Ruto's itinerary includes a visit to the headquarters of the Africa Continental Free Trade Area in Accra.
Furthermore, he is slated to deliver a keynote address at the Ghana-Kenya Business Forum, highlighting opportunities for collaboration and partnership between the two countries' business communities.
