The Director General of the National Lottery Authority (NLA), Mr Sammi Awuku, has formally declared his bid to run for the parliamentary seat in the Akuapem North constituency of the Eastern Region.
On Thursday, November 30, 2023, he made the announcement after submitting his nomination for the seat.
Taking to X (formerly Twitter), Mr Awuku expressed his excitement, stating, "Thrilled to announce that I've officially submitted my nomination to vie for the Akuapem North Constituency seat!"
In his post, he conveyed his humility, acknowledging the opportunity to contribute positively to the community
