The Church of Pentecost invites NDC leadership to Nat’l Politicians Conference
The General Secretary of The Church of Pentecost, Apostle Alexander Nana Yaw Kumi-Larbi, has led a delegation of the Church to pay a courtesy call on the leadership of the National Democratic Congress (NDC) at its headquarters at Adabraka in Accra.
The team, made up of Apostle Vincent Anane Denteh (PEMEM Director and Executive Council Member), Apostle Philip Osei-Korsah (Director of Counseling Ministry) and Pastor Dr. Felix Dela Klutse (Media Ministry Pastor), were received by the National Chairman of the NDC, Johnson Asiedu Nketiah, and other members of the party’s national executive committee.
Apostle Kumi-Larbi said the purpose of the visit was to brief the NDC leadership about the forthcoming National Politicians’ Conference being organised by The Church of Pentecost and subsequently invite the party to participate in the conference.
He said plans are far advanced to invite other political parties in the nation to attend the conference. Mr Johnson Nketiah, on his part, commended The Church of Pentecost for thinking outside the church walls and thereby making plans to organise such a historic conference.
He assured the leadership of the Church of his party’s preparedness to participate in the conference.
The National Politicians’ Conference is expected to be attended by politicians in The Church of Pentecost and other denominations across the country.
The event, which is scheduled to be held at the Pentecost Convention Centre at Gomoa- Fetteh between June 14 and 16, 2023, will have about 2,000 participants in attendance.
Online registration for the conference has been opened and ends on March 30, 2023. So far, about 1,000 politicians have registered.
