World College of Mayors honours Ghanaian MCE with prestigious leadership award

The World College of Mayors (WCM) has conferred its Distinguished Leadership Award on Mr. Abdul Ganiyu Ibrahim, Municipal Chief Executive of East Ayawaso in the Greater Accra Region.
The award recognises his outstanding contributions to sustainable urban development, innovative city management, and fostering inclusive community partnerships.
The honour was presented at a special ceremony where WCM officials praised Mayor Ibrahim’s dedication to principles of good governance that align with the organisation’s global mission.
Award Citation Highlights Exemplary Service
Dr. Manohar Roy, Operations Director of the World College of Mayors, presented the official citation.
