President Mahama swears in governing board of ZoDF

An eleven-member Governing Board of the Zongo Development Fund (ZoDF) has been sworn into office at the Jubilee House, with a mandate to accelerate the development of Zongo communities across the country.
The swearing-in ceremony, held on Friday, September 19, 2025, was conducted by the Chief of Staff, Julius Debrah, on behalf of President John Dramani Mahama.
The Chief of Staff administered the Official Oath and the Oath of Secrecy, charging the new board to diligently implement the President’s directives on enhancing development within Zongo communities.
In his remarks, Mr Debrah urged the board to work with commitment and integrity, stressing that the ZoDF remains a frontline vehicle for delivering inclusive development and improving living standards in Zongo communities.
Chairman of the Board, Sarki Alhaji Salisu Maude, an accomplished entrepreneur and philanthropist, expressed gratitude to President Mahama for the confidence reposed in them.
He pledged that the board members would bring their diverse expertise to bear in order to achieve the Fund’s mandate.
