2025 AFCON qualifiers: Otto Addo felt 'dead' after Ghana v Sudan but alive now with optimism for next games

Black Stars Coach Otto Addo felt "dead" after the final whistle for the recent 2025 African Cup of Nations (AFCON) qualifiers match between Ghana and Sudan.
After a goalless draw in Accra, Ghana and Sudan clashed again in Benina, Libya, Tuesday, October 15 - this time, Sudan's Falcons of Jedaine dominated Ghana's Black Stars with two unanswered goals.
Due to the defeat, Ghana is in third place in Group F, having only two points after four games.
"To be honest, the last two days [following Sudan clash], I was dead," Otto Addo told GFA media.
The Black Stars gaffer said he had recovered, however, and sounded optimistic about Ghana's very slim chances at qualifying for the 2025 games.
"But now, I got a lot of positive feedback and a lot of support from family, friends and this is the time I need them," he revealed.
"And this brought me back on track and very important for us to think ahead to try as much as possible to win the last games."
Ghana faces Angola and Niger again in their final two qualifying matches.
