African Games: Ghana wins gold in Men's 4x100m race
Ghana has won Gold in the Men's 4×100m race in the ongoing 2019 All African Games in Rabat, Morocco.
Team Ghana, with the quartet consisting of Joseph Paul Amoah, Benjamin Azamati, Martin Owusu-Antwi and Sean Safo-Antwi, finished first with a time of 38.30 seconds ahead of Nigeria (38.59) and South Africa (38.80) who finished second and third respectively.
In the women’s event, Ghana’s team comprising of Gemma Acheampong, Hor Halutie, Flings Owusu-Agyapong and Persis William-Mensah finished 8th outside the medal table.
Nigeria women won gold, South Africa silver with Kenya winning bronze.
