Andre Ayew, others welcome Inaki Williams’ decision to play for Black Stars
Some players of the Senior National team, the Black Stars have welcomed 28-year-old Inaki Williams’ decision to play for Ghana.
The player who was born to Ghanaian parents made his decision to play for the Black Stars team public in a video.
The player promised to defend “Ghana’s T-shirt.”
Some players in the team, have been reacting to the new player’s decision.
Captain of the team Andre Dede Ayew in a tweet said: “Welcome home brother.”
Assistant coach of the Black Stars George Boateng and striker Afena Gyan all welcomed the former Spain international’s decision.
Former Black Stars player Michael Essien also welcomed the former Spanish international.
He played for the Spain Under-21 team and for the Senior team in 2016 in a friendly against Bosnia.
