CHAN 2023: Ghana beat Sudan from behind
The Black Galaxies of Ghana recovered from their opening-day defeat to beat Sudan in their second game at the 2022 African Nations Championship (CHAN).
Goals from Konadu Yiadom, Daniel Afriyie Barnieh and Seidu Suraj were enough for Ghana as they came back from a goal to win 3-1.
Annor Walker’s side started the game the better side as they created chances but failed to utilise them.
However, it was Sudan who got the game’s opening goal with a sweet build-up from the right side of Ghana’s defence leading to Nooh Al Gozoli putting the Falcons ahead after 31 minutes.
Yiadom then got the equaliser for Ghana as his deflected shot beat the Sudanese goalkeeper to make it 1-1.
