The Skolars Rugby club displayed exceptional skills, power and dominance to win the 2nd edition of the Ghana Rugby League Nine’s Series.

The competition, played at the University of Ghana Rugby Field, ended with Skolars recording three victories over Bulls, Pirates and Panthers rugby clubs.

The event was sponsored by Radikal with parts of the proceeds raised from the series set to be donated toward supporting Gerald, a colleague athlete battling Leukaemia.

Riddick Alibah has, therefore, urged corporate bodies to join in pushing the Rugby League to higher heights.

“We have passionate athletes without any sponsorship. I can’t imagine what they will do when we have Corporate Ghana supporting us. We are pleading with corporate bodies to come on board. Rugby League is moving forward. They should get involved, join hands and make Rugby League the number sport in Ghana” he remarked.
