Paris 2024: Ghana’s Harry Stacey fails to qualify for men’s 100 metres freestyle swimming semis

Despite making her first appearance in this year's Olympics ongoing in Paris, France in the 100 metres freestyle swimming on Tuesday, 30 July 2024, Ghana failed to progress to the next stage of the competition.
Ghanaian swimmer, Harry Stacey took part in Heat 4 and placed 7th.
Stacey finished the 100 metres freestyle in 51.12 minutes.
He, however, missed the chance to progress to the semi-final stages of the competition.
At the 50-metre mark, Stacey achieved the fourth-best time of 24.11 seconds, trailing behind Anroniou’s 23.60 seconds, Almatrooshi’s 23.65 seconds, and Leo Noelles of Uruguay’s 23.92 seconds.
Stacey is one of two Ghanaian swimmers representing Ghana at the 2024 Olympics, with Joselle Mensah also competing in the Women’s 50 Metre Freestyle on Saturday,30 August.
