ProGen FC wins Norway Cup 2022
Ghana’s ProGen FC (U14), has won the 2022 Norway Cup after beating the Rollon Guards of Norway, 3 -2 in the Finals.
ProGen in the semi-final silenced the Norwegian side, IL Hoyang 9 - 0.
Adewusi, striker of ProGen FC, also won the Best Player of the tournament.
The Norway Cup is an international youth football tournament in Oslo, Norway.
The Norway Cup consists of tournaments for ages 10 through 19 for both genders with over 40 participating countries.
ProGen Football Club, located at East Legon, is known for its dedication to the development of young players through its after school Football Development Program.
The club has won numerous of local and international trophies with its youth players. Notable among these are the Gothia Cup, Norway Cup and the Paris World Youth Cup in Sweden, Norway and France respectively.
The club also organises football activities such as football clinics, summer camps, corporate football leagues and local tournaments to help promote the game.
