24-hour economy will have 1:3:3 schedule – Mahama

The 24-hour economy will have a 1:3:3 schedule, John Dramani Mahama has said.
He spoke at the launch of the 2024 National Democratic Congress (NDC) Manifesto in Winneba, Central region, Saturday, August 24, 2024.
Mr Mahama unveiled a 24-hour clock, also.
“One job, three shifts, three people,” the former president said. “Three shifts of eight hours each.”
The 24-hour economy, he assured, will result in a situation where “everyone will get something to eat”.
He said the 24-hour economy will greatly alleviate unemployment and elevate the nation’s productivity.
At the event, an official 24-hour economy song was launched, too. It was crafted in Jama fashion and touted the economic policy as good news. The song also called out to all who love Mahama to come join the campaign to restore the former president to the Golden Jubilee House.
John Dramani Mahama seeks presidential power to reset Ghana’s governance and economy. His biggest challenger is Vice President cum New Patriotic Party (NPP) flagbearer Dr Mahamudu Bawumia.
Ghana goes to the polls on Saturday, December 7.
