Barclays officially Absa from today

Barclays Ghana has today, Monday, 10 February 2020 officially rebranded to Absa Bank Ghana Limited.
This follows the take over of the bank by Absa group in 2018.
Absa Bank Ghana has already unveiled hip hop artiste M.anifest as its brand ambassador.
All the brand identity of Absa including logo and colour is expected to be out-doored today.
Class Business understands the rebranding is taking place concurrently in countries such as Kenya, Uganda, Bostwana, South Africa amongst others.
Ms Nana Essilfuah Boison, while unveiling M.anifest as brand ambassador said “As we become Absa, we are not only building on our 100-year heritage in Ghana, we are also one of Africa’s top three largest banks, backed by a large capital base and strong balance sheet with a commitment to connect people’s dreams with financial opportunities”.
