The National Entrepreneurship and Innovation Programme (NEIP) has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the Ministry of Food and Agriculture (MoFA) to provide enhanced support for agricultural entrepreneurs under the Adwumawura Programme.

The partnership is designed to strengthen Ghana’s agribusiness sector by combining technical expertise with entrepreneurial training.

Under the agreement, MoFA will supply high-quality poultry feed and provide technical and on-the-ground support to programme beneficiaries.

For its part, NEIP will deliver comprehensive entrepreneurship training and assist entrepreneurs with essential resources, including the provision of hen coops to set up their businesses.

Speaking at the signing ceremony, officials from both institutions stressed that the collaboration is aimed at empowering small-scale poultry farmers, particularly “nkoko nketenkete” entrepreneurs, to create jobs, expand agribusinesses, and drive sustainable economic growth.

The initiative forms part of NEIP’s broader Reset Agenda, which seeks to strengthen innovation-driven enterprises and position agriculture as a key driver of Ghana’s development.
