President Mahama: Nkoko Nketenkete project to launch in Oct

President John Dramani Mahama has announced that the Nkoko Nketenkete Project, a nationwide poultry initiative will officially be launched in October.
The programme was designed to support poultry producers at all levels, from large-scale commercial farms to small household operations, with the goal of boosting local production and empowering young entrepreneurs across the country.
Speaking during a visit to the National Service Poultry Project site in Papao, the president also revealed plans to transform the facility into more than just a production center. According to him, it will serve as a training hub and a research facility, setting a new benchmark for agricultural innovation in Ghana.
He emphasised that the site will become a model farm, attracting attention not only from within Ghana but also from across West Africa. A true symbol of what young Ghanaians and national service personnel can accomplish through innovation, dedication, and commitment.
