Parliamentary Energy Committee tours BOSTEnergies Accra Plains depot
The Parliamentary Select Committee on Energy has visited the Accra Plains Depot (APD) of BOSTEnergies as part of its oversight responsibility for Ghana’s energy sector.
The engagement formed part of Parliament’s routine efforts to assess operations within key institutions in the downstream petroleum and energy supply chain.
During the visit, the Managing Director of BOSTEnergies, Afetsi Awoonor, and the Deputy Managing Director, Nat Salifu Acheampong, held discussions with the Committee on the company’s 2026 strategic work plan and provided operational updates on ongoing activities at the depot.
The session was followed by a guided tour of the Accra Plains Depot, where Members of Parliament were briefed on storage operations and infrastructure supporting fuel distribution.
The engagement underscored BOSTEnergies’ commitment to transparency, accountability, and operational efficiency, as well as its role in safeguarding the long-term security and stability of Ghana’s energy supply chain.
The Parliamentary Committee is expected to continue similar oversight visits across key facilities within the energy sector as part of its mandate.
