2023 Ghana Music Awards UK: FRA! bags 4 nominations
For the 2023 Taabea Ghana Music Awards (GMAs) UK, the band FRA! has received four opportunities to win four awards.
The Highlife/Funk announced their nominations and categories, Monday, August 7, 2023, on Facebook.
"Four more to do more! Your favourite highlife funk band from Ghana just got nominated in four categories in this year's edition ghukawards!" FRA! said, rallying: "Let's bag these ones!"
FRA! was nominated in the Best Group of the Year, Best Collaboration of the Year, Best Touring Band, and Ghanaian Contemporary Act of the Year categories for the 2023 GMAs UK.

The 7th edition, the 2023 Taabea Ghana Music Awards UK was officially launched and nominees unveiled on Friday, August 4, at the Labadi Beach Hotel, Accra.
Meanwhile, the Germany-based Delicious Tunes signee FRA! will climax their Chale Wote UK/EU Summer Tour in Accra with a benefit concert on Saturday, August 26.
Proceeds from the event, which will come off at the +233 Jazz Bar and Grill, North Ridge, will be donated to a charity.
The rate is only GHS50.
The band has also invited patrons to consider donations in the form of clothes and foodstuffs also.
FRA! chalked an instant megahit with their Nana Yaw Ofori-Atta-assisted You Dey Feel the Vibe performed live in January for FRA!ternity VI. The music video was released on February 1. Watch it below:
The band's third studio album Chale Wote (Let's Go, Buddy) was also released on June 22, while on tour. See the tracklist and collaborators below:
