Ghanaian rapper Kwaw Kese has weighed in on the musical paths of Kofi Kinaata and King Paluta, stating that he believes both artists were destined to be singers rather than rappers.

Speaking on Daybreak Hitz, Kwaw Kese suggested that the duo may have ventured into rap music due to peer influence and the environment around them at the time.

However, he noted that as their careers progressed, it became clear that their true strength lies in singing.

According to him, music lovers connect more with Kofi Kinaata’s singing than his rap because singing reflects his natural gift. He added that discovering one’s true calling can take time, and not every artist immediately realises where their strongest talent lies.

Using King Paluta as an example, Kwaw Kese explained that although he spent years building a name as a rapper, his breakthrough came when he embraced singing.

He believes that the decision allowed King Paluta to fully showcase his authentic talent and contributed significantly to his recent success.
