After more than four hours of intensive review, debate, and evaluation, the National Tourism Awards Jury Team has successfully selected 54 outstanding finalists for this year’s prestigious Ghana National Tourism Awards.
The rigorous selection process was conducted under the leadership of the Chief Executive Officer of the Ghana Tourism Authority (GTA), Mrs. Maame Efua Houadjeto, and Deputy CEO, Mr. Gilbert Aggrey, with participation from experts across both the public and private sectors.
In a statement, the GTA leadership expressed profound appreciation to the National Tourism Awards Jury Team for their dedication, professionalism, and integrity throughout the review process.
“We are proud of the commitment and passion demonstrated by the jury team in upholding transparency and excellence in the awards process,” the statement read.
The Authority also acknowledged the contribution of two private sector representatives who joined the jury, ensuring a balanced and credible selection outcome.
The shortlisted finalists represent individuals and organisations that have made exceptional contributions to Ghana’s tourism, hospitality, and travel industry, showcasing innovation, service quality, and dedication to promoting Ghana as a leading destination.
The announcement marks a key milestone on the road to the Grand National Tourism Awards Celebration, which will honour excellence and inspire growth across the sector.
“The journey to the grand celebration continues,” the GTA statement concluded, reaffirming its commitment to recognising excellence and driving transformation in Ghana’s tourism industry.
