Ghana aligns with UN Tourism’s AI vision at 26th General Assembly
Ghana has joined global leaders in exploring how Artificial Intelligence (AI) can revolutionise tourism.
The nation was represented by the Minister for Tourism, Culture and Creative Arts, Abla Dzifa Gomashie, at the ongoing UN Tourism General Assembly in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.
The special session, themed 'UN Tourism Tech Adventure,' showcased innovative AI-driven tools enhancing travel planning, destination discovery, and visitor experience.
Ms Gomashie expressed satisfaction that agencies under her ministry were already integrating AI systems in line with UN Tourism’s global vision and President John Mahama’s Black Star Experience agenda.
She reaffirmed Ghana’s commitment to harnessing technology and innovation for sustainable tourism growth and called for partnerships to advance AI adoption in Ghana’s hospitality industry.
