KODA to be bid farewell on July 5

According to Kofi Owusu Dua-Anto’s family, his funeral rites will take place on Friday, July 5, 2024.
The announced venue is the Kingsway International Christian Centre (KICC), Spintex Road, Accra.
A one-week observation was held for the late Gospel star professionally called KODA on Friday, May 10, 2024, at the Kings Temple of the International Central Gospel Church (ICGC), Takoradi, Western Region.
The multiple award-winning singer-songwriter and multi-instrumentalist passed at 45, Sunday, April 21, “after a short illness,” according to his family.
He is survived by a wife, Ewurama Dua-Anto.
In a viral video, KODA revealed he had G6PD and had once consistently taken sulfa medication, prescribed by a doctor at a medical facility in Takoradi he chose not to name in said video.
