“The God in me doesn’t change” — Stella Aba Seal explains her timeless nature on No.1 FM
Gospel legend Stella Aba Seal has revealed why her personality and character have remained unchanged over the years. During an appearance on No.1 FM’s ‘Journey to Heaven’, hosted by P. Kay, the iconic singer was asked why she still carries the same calm and grounded nature that people have known her for.
P. Kay remarked that she looks and behaves just as she always has, then asked: “You haven’t changed at all. Why are you still the same, and where have you been?”
Stella Aba Seal responded with a deep, faith-filled message: “The God who lives in me doesn’t change.
He is the same yesterday, today, and forever. So if He doesn’t change — and He lives in me — then that is why I remain the same.”
Her answer struck a chord with listeners, who praised her humility and strong spiritual foundation.
Stella explained that her stability in life comes from allowing God’s nature to shape her, rather than the pressures of fame or public expectations.
The moment has since been highlighted as one of the most inspiring parts of the show, reminding many that true consistency comes from within.
