e-Shun's former manager lacks understanding of music administration – Mr Logic
Artiste Manager Mr Logic has said the former manager of Ghanaian musician e-Shun lacks understanding of music administration.
This follows the seizing of the musician’s social media handles by her former manager Steve Mensah, who is also e-Shun’s ex-fiancé.
According to the musician, her former manager is demanding GHS 120,000 before handing over her social media accounts to her.
Reacting to this in an interview on Entertainment Capital on Accra100.5FM on Saturday, 30 May 2020, Mr Logic noted that the former manager of the artiste is ignorant of what artiste grooming entails.
He told show host Nana Romeo that: “Steve doesn’t understand music administration. He doesn’t understand. The people who follow e-Shun’s social media handles know they are supposed to be dealing with e-Shun but you’ve changed it to Nana Brew. This shows Steve does not understand grooming.
“You don’ do that. The handles are for e-Shun. The people who love her are the ones following her and you claim to have seized it, you don’t have that right. You know, he said he spent USD200 every month on the social media handle, but that’s his job to enable your artiste and to enable you reap from your investment. However, the face and the personality on the social media handles is the artiste. It’s her property. She can actually deny all that the manager is saying; it doesn’t matter. He must give her thing back to her…”
