The Minister of Finance has presented the government’s 2026 Mid-Year Budget Review to Parliament, expressing optimism about the economy and outlining key policy directions for the rest of the year.

Addressing the Members of Parliament, the Minister said despite global economic challenges, the government remains focused on growth, job creation, and fiscal discipline.

“2026 Mid-Year Budget Review: Ghana is moving forward," the Finance Minister declared.

He highlighted improvements in revenue mobilization, ongoing infrastructure projects, and social interventions as evidence that the economy is stabilizing.

The review also touched on government expenditure, debt management, and measures to protect the vulnerable amid rising cost of living.
