Accra FM's Jacob Narbi Appointed as media officer for Para Adaptive Boxing Federation

In a landmark move to boost visibility and communications within the realm of inclusive sports, the Para Adaptive Boxing Federation has appointed Jacob Narbi, a sports journalist with Accra FM, as its new Media Officer.
The decision, announced at the inauguration of the Para Swimming Association, marks a strategic step forward in promoting adaptive boxing and giving a stronger voice to athletes with disabilities.
Jacob Narbi, known for his dynamic approach to sports media and advocacy, brings a wealth of experience in storytelling, public relations, and digital engagement.
With a background in journalism and Public relations and a track record of working with inclusive sports organisations, Narbi is set to transform the Federation’s media presence and outreach efforts.
"I’m honoured to take on this role at such a pivotal time for adaptive sports," Narbi said.
"Boxing is a powerful platform for resilience, and adaptive boxing showcases some of the most inspiring athletes in the world.

The Para Adaptive Boxing Federation, which supports and governs boxing activities for athletes with physical and neurological challenges, has grown steadily in recent years.
The appointment of a dedicated Media Officer underscores the Federation’s commitment to professionalising its operations and raising public awareness.
Narbi’s responsibilities will include overseeing all media relations, developing digital campaigns, coordinating with athletes and coaches for storytelling, and ensuring inclusive representation across all communication channels. His vision includes launching a documentary series, expanding the Federation's social media footprint, and forging media partnerships to spotlight national and international competitions.
Narbi begins his tenure effective immediately, with plans already underway for coverage of the upcoming International Para Adaptive Boxing Championship later this year.
This appointment not only highlights Jacob Narbi’s leadership but also signifies the Federation’s dedication to growth, inclusivity, and the celebration of human potential in all its forms.
