Euphoria Africa Charity Gala 2025

As the countdown begins for the much-anticipated Euphoria Africa Charity Gala on September 14, 2025, Accra is buzzing with excitement.

Ghana’s most influential figures—from politics to entertainment, diplomacy, and youth media—are rallying on social media to spotlight critical national issues, notably the call to end domestic violence and support for maternal health in deprived communities.

This year’s theme, “The Silent Crisis,” shifts the spotlight to a pressing but often overlooked issue—issue-the dire need for maternity aid in Ghana’s most underserved hospitals, where many new mothers face life-threatening shortages of basic supplies.

Organisers are calling on the public to be part of a campaign that promises not just awareness, but real, life-saving impact.

Leading the charge are political trailblazers such as  Dorcas Affo-Toffey, MP for Jomoro; Dr. Nadia Atongo Fynn, former Deputy Director of Diaspora Affairs; and activist Akosua Asaa Manu, former Deputy CEO of the National Youth Authority—each using their platforms to advocate for urgent social change.

The campaign has also earned international attention, thanks to the involvement of Ingrid Mollestad, Norwegian Ambassador to Ghana; Berenice Owen-Jones, Australian High Commissioner; and Roberta Annan, philanthropist and UNEP Goodwill Ambassador.

Their global support adds weight to the mission and extends its reach far beyond Ghana’s borders.

From the entertainment world, influential voices such as Nikoletta Samonas, award-winning actress and UNHCR Goodwill Ambassador; Kafui Danku, Executive Secretary of the National Film Authority; and Stephanie Karikari, celebrated actress and producer, are championing the cause with passion and purpose.

Youth influencers are also front and centre.

Media personalities Bliss Kingg, Wesley Kesse, Princess Burland, and renowned costume designer Afriyah Frimpong are using their voices to energise younger audiences and amplify the message across digital platforms.

Last year’s gala successfully focused on domestic violence awareness and led to tangible contributions, including the provision of essential lab equipment for the Domestic Violence and Victim Support Unit (DOVVSU) of the Ghana Police Service.

Key partners included Plan International Ghana, UNFPA, and Twellium Ghana Limited—producers of Verna Mineral Water, McBerry biscuits, and other well-known products.

This year, your participation could save lives. The Euphoria Africa Charity Gala 2025 isn’t just an event—it’s a movement for change. Mark your calendar for September 14, and join the campaign to protect mothers and promote dignity, safety, and care for all.
