Father of stolen Mamprobi baby speaks after child’s recovery
The father of the baby who was abducted at Mamprobi Polyclinic in the Greater Accra Region has broken his silence following the safe recovery of his child.
Mohammed Kwame Agyemang expressed profound relief that his newborn had been found and reunited with the family. However, he disclosed that his wife remains emotionally shaken by the ordeal.
According to Mr. Agyemang, his wife, who delivered the baby through a Caesarean Section (CS), is still recovering from surgery and has been deeply traumatised by the incident.
He noted that although the child is now safe, the psychological impact of the experience continues to weigh heavily on her.
The abduction, which occurred in Mamprobi in the Ablekuma South Constituency, sparked widespread alarm within the community and prompted an intensive search that ultimately led to the baby’s recovery.
Mr. Agyemang appealed for continued prayers and support as his family focuses on healing and caring for their newborn. Meanwhile, investigations into the circumstances surrounding the incident remain ongoing.
