Ghana and Zambia First Ladies strengthen ties, explore social development partnerships
First Lady Mrs Lordina Dramani Mahama has held a bilateral meeting with Zambia’s First Lady, Mrs Mutinta Hichilema, highlighting strong bonds of cooperation and sisterhood between Ghana and Zambia.

The meeting provided an opportunity for the two first ladies to exchange views on their respective social development initiatives and explore avenues for collaboration.

Discussions focused on sharing experiences, identifying areas of mutual support, and strengthening partnerships aimed at delivering impactful community programmes in both countries.

Mrs Mahama reaffirmed her commitment to advancing initiatives that improve the welfare of vulnerable groups, while both leaders underscored the importance of cross-border collaboration in driving sustainable social development.
The first lady is in Lusaka accompanying President John Dramani Mahama on his three-day State Visit to Zambia.
