President John Dramani Mahama has pledged to deliver tangible improvements in the lives of Ghanaians, outlining a renewed commitment to inclusive growth and social transformation during his second State of the Nation Address (SONA).

Addressing the Parliament of Ghana, President Mahama assured citizens that his administration remains focused on practical outcomes that directly impact households, businesses and communities across the country.

He stated that beyond policy announcements and macroeconomic targets, the government’s priority is to ensure that economic recovery translates into improved living standards, job creation and expanded opportunities for the youth.

The President highlighted ongoing efforts to stabilise the economy, strengthen key sectors such as energy, agriculture and manufacturing, and enhance social intervention programmes aimed at protecting vulnerable populations.

According to him, the administration’s approach is grounded in discipline, accountability and strategic investment, with a clear objective of restoring confidence and accelerating national development.

President Mahama emphasised that his government would be measured not only by its plans but by visible results that improve the daily lives of Ghanaians.
