The National Petroleum Authority (NPA) has commemorated its 20th anniversary with a thanksgiving service held at the Cedar Mountain Chapel in East Legon, Accra.

The event brought together the Chief Executive, Mr. Godwin Edudzi Tameklo, directors, management, and staff to celebrate two decades of dedicated service in regulating Ghana’s petroleum downstream sector.

In a sermon delivered at the service, Rev. Dr. Stephen Wengam urged the NPA to remain steadfast in its mandate.

He encouraged the Authority’s leadership and workforce to uphold professionalism, unity, and commitment as they continue to play a pivotal role in Ghana’s energy industry.

As part of the ceremony, the church presented a special commemorative plaque and an anniversary cake to the NPA in recognition of the milestone and its contributions to national development.

The Thanksgiving service is one of several activities marking the Authority’s 20-year journey since its establishment in 2005 to ensure efficiency, transparency, and growth within the downstream petroleum sector.
