The hearing of the alleged National Service Authority (NSA) ghost names case has been adjourned to July 31, after the defence requested additional time to review documents relating to frozen bank accounts linked to the ongoing investigation.

At the latest court sitting, the prosecution disclosed documents concerning accounts that had been frozen as part of investigations into the alleged payroll fraud involving ghost names on the National Service payroll. Defence lawyers subsequently sought more time to examine the materials before proceedings continue.

The court granted the request, noting that the defence should be given adequate opportunity to study the disclosed evidence to ensure a fair trial.
