PRINPAG, TUDEC forge partnerships to promote peace and development

The Private Newspapers and Online News Publishers Association of Ghana (PRINPAG) and the TUDEC Development Corporation have held a strategic meeting in Accra to explore partnership opportunities aimed at promoting peace, development, and humanitarian service in Ghana and beyond.

The meeting, which took place on Tuesday, October 7, 2025, brought together the national leadership of PRINPAG and senior executives of TUDEC, both of whom expressed a shared vision to leverage their respective strengths for the benefit of society.

PRINPAG President, Mr. David Tamakloe, underscored the vital role of the media in shaping public discourse, promoting transparency, and driving social progress.

“The outcome of our collaboration must serve the broader interest of society,” Mr. Tamakloe said, adding that PRINPAG’s extensive network of media platforms provides a unique avenue for TUDEC to advance its global mission of peace and development.

TUDEC President, Mr. Capha Tepeli, accompanied by Mr. Mehmet Şimşek, Project Manager of TUDEC, reaffirmed his organisation’s commitment to supporting initiatives that uplift humanity.

He noted that TUDEC’s work focuses on key areas such as health, education, clean water and sanitation, peace promotion, justice, poverty alleviation, and economic growth.

“We believe in partnerships that bring lasting impact to communities.

Working with PRINPAG aligns with our mission to promote peace and development through collaboration and shared values,” Mr. Tepeli stated.

Other PRINPAG executives present at the meeting included Mr. Michael Antwi-Agyei, Vice President; Mr. Jeorge Wilson Kingson, Executive Secretary; Mr. Prince Kawunda, Organising Secretary; Mr. Emmanuel Opare Djan, Public Affairs Officer; and Ms. Naana Aklerh Kubi I, Financial Secretary.

The two organisations agreed to develop a framework for sustained collaboration, focusing on public education, peacebuilding initiatives, and development advocacy.
