President John Dramani Mahama will on Wednesday, September 10, 2025, hold his first Presidential Media Encounter since taking office in January.

A statement issued on Monday, September 8, and signed by the Spokesperson to the President and Minister of Government Communications, Mr Felix Kwakye Ofosu, said the event would take place at the Jubilee House at 8 PM.

According to the statement, the encounter will provide a platform for President Mahama to engage the public, through the media, on national issues, his Resetting Ghana Agenda, as well as ongoing policies and projects.

When Class Media Group (CMG) correspondent Solomon Mensah-Ahiable spoke to residents of Ho, Volta Region, they commended the president for his decision to meet the press eight months after taking office, to address them on his achievements so far, and take their feedback.

Additionally, they urged the president to reaffirm his commitment to constructing the eastern corridor road, the Ho airport being transformed into an aviation centre, the Volta regional library, Ho to Denu road, and setting up of a factory in the region, among other pressing challenges.
