W/R: Shama junction accident claims life of 60-year-old woman

A tragic road accident at Shama Junction in the Western Region has claimed the life of 60-year-old Comfort Baidoo, leaving residents in shock and grief.
Eyewitnesses reported that the accident occurred when an unregistered Honda Civic lost control while attempting to avoid traffic.
The vehicle veered off the road onto the pedestrian walkway, striking the victim and dragging her into a nearby food joint.
The incident has sparked renewed concerns over road safety and the increasing number of unregistered vehicles plying major routes in the region.
Police have begun investigations into the crash, while the body of the deceased has been conveyed to the morgue.
