Finance Minister pays tribute to fallen heroes at state funeral

The Minister for Finance, Dr. Cassiel Ato Forson, on Friday joined hundreds of mourners in Accra to bid a final farewell to Ghana’s fallen heroes who lost their lives in the line of duty.
The solemn ceremony honoured the distinguished men described as having served the nation with courage, devotion, and selflessness.
Speaking at the event, Dr. Forson praised their sacrifice, noting that their legacy will remain forever engraved in the nation’s history.
“Their sacrifice is etched in the heart of our nation.
May their souls rest in perfect peace, and may their light continue to inspire generations to come,” he said.
The state funeral formed part of a series of tributes celebrating the commitment and bravery of the victims, whose service, mourners agreed, will continue to inspire future generations of Ghanaians.
