E/R: Police gun down 3 suspected robbers at Obosomase

Three suspected armed robbers have been killed by the Police at Obosomase in the Akuapem North Municipality of the Eastern Region.
The robbers, Akroma, Elisha and Ahwereng who engaged the Police in a shoot-out, were killed on Tuesday, 23 August 2022.
The three were natives of the area.
Together with another suspect the culprits after a robbery escapade met the Police and began exchanging firepower with them.
They were, however, overpowered by the police leading to their killing.
The other suspect was arrested and is currently in Police custody.
According to the Police, two of the suspects are ex-convicts.
Investigations have since commenced into the incident.
