Police arrest 3 over Kwabenya home robbery, recover stolen phones and weapons
The Ghana Police Service (GPS) has arrested three suspects in connection with a robbery attack at Kwabenya in the Greater Accra Region.
The arrests were carried out by the National Operations Directorate (NOD) Surveillance Unit following investigations into the incident, which occurred on January 18, 2026.
According to police, two armed robbers stormed a residence in the area and made away with several valuables, including two iPhone 17 Pro Max mobile phones, a gold necklace, an Apple Watch, GH¢14,000 in cash, a car key, and US$300.
The robbers also reportedly forced the victim to log out of his iCloud account on one of the stolen phones before fleeing the scene.
The suspects have been identified as Francis 'Agogo' Amo; Anthony 'Aisha Kojo' Boateng; and Musah 'Coded' Ibrahim, who police believe acted as a receiver of the stolen items.
Police say the suspects have admitted their involvement in the crime.

A search led to the recovery of one iPhone 17 Pro Max, an Apple Watch, and a Samsung Fold mobile phone.
Further checks at the residence of Anthony Boateng uncovered several offensive weapons, including a truncheon, a short machete, knives, scissors, lighters, and a face shield.

The suspects are currently in police custody assisting with investigations.
The police service says efforts are ongoing to retrieve the remaining stolen items and to arrest other individuals who may be connected to the robbery.
