C/R: Rains rip off roof of 6-unit classroom block

The roof of a six-unit classroom block housing pupils of Ajumako Abrofoa, in the Ajumako Enyan Essiam District of the Central Region, was ripped off by heavy rains on Friday, April 7, 2023.
The rains which started around 1:30 pm and lasted for close to 3 hours also ripped off the roofing of the staff common room, and the school's kitchen.
The rain also pulled down the toilet facilities and the electric poles on the school's compound.
Some concerned members of the community in an interview with Class 91.3 FM's Raymond Kwofie are calling on the District Assembly to put the school back in shape before school re-opens otherwise the pupils and teachers will have no choice but to continue to remain at home until this problem is solved.
