E/R: Four students of Koforidua Technical test positive for COVID-19

Four students of the Koforidua Technical Institute (KOTECH) in the Eastern Region have tested positive for COVID-19.
The students are currently in isolation.
Eight students had initially shown symptoms of the virus.
After testing, however, four of the 8 students tested negative while one who had a temperature is receiving treatment at a private facility.
Sources reveal that the authorities of the school have conducted mass testing for all students, teaching and non-teaching staff and are currently awaiting the results.
Meanwhile, more COVID-19-related deaths at the weekend have taken Ghana’s COVID-19 fatality toll to 464, the latest figures of the Ghana Health Service indicate.
There are 765 new cases.
The active caseload is now 6,411.
So far, a total of 71,533 cases have been confirmed in Ghana since March last year.
Out of that number, 64,658 have recovered.
