Europe summer camp and educational tour for kids and students kicks off

A record-breaking 108 Ghanaian students and chaperones are set to embark on Edibeck Consult’s transformative "Europe Summer Camp and Educational Tour," a three-week journey across Europe themed Bridging Cultures, Building Futures.
During today’s Pre-Departure Briefing in Accra, Managing Director, Kwadwo Obiri Ampong shared the vision driving the program’s unprecedented growth and its mission to empower Ghanaian youth through education and global exposure.
From Modest Beginnings to Major Impact
What began six years ago with just 13 participants in collaboration with Summer Camps Holland has grown into a cornerstone of youth development.
“Our core mission is to promote education, cultural exchange, tourism, innovation, and technology,” Ampong said in an exclusive interview.
“This year’s 108 delegates reflect the programme’s remarkable evolution and the hunger for opportunities that prepare young Ghanaians for a global stage.
”A Holistic European Experience
Ampong emphasised the program’s unique approach, which combines immersive learning with cultural and technological exposure across the Netherlands, Germany, Belgium, and France.
The itinerary includes:
Intensive Dutch language courses
Workshops on AI, sustainability, and entrepreneurship
University visits to promote cultural diplomacy
Exposure to cutting-edge tech hubs
“Europe’s summer camps offer a holistic model that’s difficult to replicate locally,” Ampong explained.
“This multi-dimensional experience equips our youth with the skills and perspectives to thrive in a globalised world.”
Logistics and Commitment to Inclusion
The 2025 camp features dual departures: an advance team leaves tonight (July 25), with the main group following on July 26.
Participants were selected through partner schools and open online applications.
Reinforcing its social responsibility, Edibeck Consult fully sponsored four “smart-but-needy” students. “Though parent-funded, our commitment to corporate social responsibility ensures we uplift deserving students each year,” Ampong noted.
Cultural Pride as a Global Force
With Ghanaian flags displayed prominently at the briefing, Ampong urged participants to embrace their heritage. “Represent Ghana boldly,” he said.
“When our students wore kente at the Eiffel Tower, they sparked global curiosity.
Progress lies in embracing your roots while engaging new perspectives.”
This resonated with university-bound participant Kofi Mensah, who shared, “The MD’s call to be cultural ambassadors changed my perspective.
I’m not just visiting Europe – I’m showcasing Ghana’s brilliance.”Shaping Tomorrow’s Leaders
As the largest cohort yet prepares for this life-changing journey, Edibeck Consult’s Europe Summer Camp is redefining youth empowerment in Ghana. By blending cultural pride with global exposure, the program is building bridges and shaping futures for a new generation.
