The Ghana Education Service (GES) has placed two additional headteachers on interdiction over allegations of selling unauthorised items to Form One students. 

Mr. Afi Yaw Stephen, Headmaster of Berekum Senior High School, and Mr. Joseph Jilinjeh Abudu, Headmaster of Odomaseman Senior High School, were instructed to step aside for selling unauthorised items, including charging unauthorised fees.

Mr. Afi was accused of imposing fees such as "Borla fees," "motivation fees," and charges for lunch bags.

Meanwhile, Mr. Jilinjeh Abudu faced allegations of charging students GHC45 for hymn books, SRC fees, brown khaki, and other items.

This action brings the total number of interdicted headteachers to four, including Patience Naki Mensah, Headmistress of Ghana Senior High School, Koforidua, and Nadia Lartechoe Annan, Headmistress of O’Reilly Senior High School, all accused of imposing unapproved fees.
