GES releases exam dates for 2024 BECE, WASSCE

The Ghana Education Service (GES) has officially announced the examination dates for the 2024 Basic Education Certificate Examination (BECE) and West African Senior School Certificate Examination (WASSCE).
In a letter dated February 5, 2024, the GES scheduled examination periods as follows:
BECE (SC): July 8 – 12, 2024
WASSCE (SC): July 1 – August 31, 2024
GES has instructed the West African Examinations Council (WAEC) to provide detailed information about the registration process for both examinations.
The information is expected to be communicated to the heads of schools in the coming weeks.
Regional Directors of Education are responsible for disseminating this crucial information to the Metro/District/Municipal Directors of Education for further communication to all heads of Basic and Senior High Schools
