GES self-placement module opens
The self-placement module which was temporarily closed down by the Ghana Education Service (GES) is expected to be live again today, Thursday, 12 September 2019.
The GES closed down the module to enable it update the list of schools and programmes available for students entering the senior high school this year.
A statement signed by Cassandra Twum Ampofo, head of public relations at GES, which announced the closure said: “The management of the Ghana Education Service wishes to announce to students, parents and the general public that the self-placement module of the School Placement Platform has been temporarily closed down. This is to enable GES update the list of schools and programmes available on the module. This module is expected to come live again on Thursday, 12 September 2019.”
The GES added that “all the other modules on the school placement platform are live and actively working", and urged student, parents and the general public to continue to access their placement.
