A/R: Kumasi FM's 'Prison Encounter' show donates floor tiles to Central Prison

Prison Encounter, a social programme on Kumasi 104.1FM, a subsidiary of the Class Media Group (CMG), has donated floor tiles to the Kumasi Central Prison.
The donation was made on Thursday, 30 December 2021, as part of the show host's birthday, which coincided with the show's annual donation date.
The host of the show, Mrs Florence Danso, popularly known as ‘Maa Florence’, presented the tiles to the prison officers.
She noted that the administration block of the prison has not been tiled and for that reason, the show decided to support the tiling effort.
Mrs Danso thanked listeners of the show and other donors for their contribution to the donation.
She entreated the public to desist from stigmatising ex-convicts but rather welcome them back into society.
The Ashanti Regional Prisons Commander, DDP Asamoah Fenning, received the items.
He thanked the management of Kumasi FM and the show host for the donation.
Mr Fenning pleaded with philanthropists and other organisations to come to the aid of the prison.
