A/R: Rainstorm wreaks havoc in Amakye-Bare

A devastating rainstorm has swept through the Amakye-Bare community in the Atwima Nwabiagya North Municipality of the Ashanti Region, leaving widespread destruction in its wake.
The storm, which lasted for an hour, destroyed over 200 houses, including schools, churches, and poultry farms.
It also brought down 72 electricity poles, causing severe damage to homes and plunging the community into total darkness.
Many affected residents have been left stranded, with some now living in the open as they struggle to recover from the disaster.
Describing the storm as intense and devastating, residents lamented their losses and appealed for immediate assistance to help them rebuild their lives.
Meanwhile, Nana Osei-Tutu, the Kyeidomhene of Amakye-Bare, has called on the government, philanthropists, and aid organizations to provide relief and support to the affected residents
